When looking for tips and tricks I found some gems in the Apple iPad Support page.  There is information there in the Business & Education on Apple Configurator.  This is a page worth bookmarking for those using it.  There are help pages that tell how to prepare, supervise, and assign devices.  The instructions are easy to follow step by step instructions.
